Diamond Drive started as the band they are today in december 2006. The band took form when the instrumental crew, after a long search for a lead singer that could compliment their music, got hold of Jens.
During the first year Diamond Drive has released the ep Early 2007 which was well received. The band has also been on a trip to England to play live and a new tour is scheduled to take place in February 2008.
As far as the music goes the band is eager to experiment within the boundaries they have set for themselves. Diamond Drive's energy is founded within the live experience which is why the band is extremely focused on the audience while performing.
Musically Diamond Drive is based within a spectre from melodic rock to agressive thrash.
